AI bookkeeping setup · Capital Control

Your books, organized.
Your numbers, clear.
A process you can use.

You want to know what the business made, what it spent, and what needs attention—without spending your evenings piecing it all together. I help you set up an AI-assisted bookkeeping and reporting workflow around the tools and records you already use.

A scoped setup project. A checked first cycle. A handoff you can follow.

The starting point

The work keeps getting
pushed to later.

Your records are spread across bank statements, payment platforms, spreadsheets, and accounting software. You need a way to keep them useful throughout the year.

You want to know your numbers

What did the business make and spend? What changed? Which figures still need review?

You want less back-and-forth

Bring missing receipts, unclear transactions, and accounting questions into one organized list.

You want help setting it up

You can see the value in AI, but configuring, checking, and maintaining the process is work of its own.

What is included

A working setup,
with a clear handoff.

We define the accounts, period, records, and review responsibilities before work starts. The project is built around that agreed coverage.

01

Your records and account map

A defined place for source records, existing categories and decisions, and the accounts covered by the workflow.

02

An AI-assisted working process

Repeatable steps for organizing records, preparing bookkeeping work, grouping questions, and checking the results. Connections are included only where supported and agreed.

03

A checked first reporting cycle

The agreed reports, source checks, and reconciliation work, with missing records and unresolved differences identified. The review status stays visible.

04

Instructions for the next run

A walkthrough, saved decisions, and a checklist for your next period. You know who runs it, who reviews it, and when to ask for help.

How it works

A defined project.
A usable result.

Start with a conversation. We agree on the scope, fee, timing, and review responsibilities before paid work begins.

01

Understand the setup

Review your current tools, records, pain points, and the accounting support already in place.

02

Define the project

Agree on accounts, period, cleanup needs, deliverables, responsibilities, fee, and timing.

03

Build and run it

Set up the workflow, work through an agreed period, check the outputs, and resolve or flag exceptions.

04

Hand it over

Walk through the process and the next run. Decide separately whether you want continued help.

Is this a fit?

A clear need.
A practical starting point.

  • An owner-led business that wants organized records and a clearer monthly financial picture.
  • You can provide the records and answer questions about unfamiliar transactions.
  • You want help building the process, with an owner or accounting professional assigned to review it.

Historical cleanup, multiple entities, complex accounting, and new integrations may need a separate scope. If the records are not ready, we identify the preparation needed first.

Before we start

A few practical
questions.

Is this bookkeeping, software, or a setup service?

The starting offer is a setup and implementation service for your bookkeeping and reporting workflow. Any transaction work, reconciliation, reporting, and ongoing operation are defined in your scope. You keep using the agreed tools; this is not a new accounting software subscription.

Do I have to change banks or use QuickBooks?

Not automatically. We start with your existing tools and records. The scope identifies which exports or connections are usable and whether an accounting system or other change is needed.

Does this replace my CPA or run without review?

No. AI helps prepare and organize the work, but its output needs checking. Your CPA or other qualified professional remains responsible for tax work and professional judgments. Who runs and reviews the routine work is agreed during setup.

What does it cost, and is there a retainer?

Setup is quoted after reviewing the accounts, volume, record condition, and work required. Historical cleanup and ongoing support are scoped separately. A recurring service is optional and begins only when agreed.

What should I bring to the first call?

A short description of your business, the tools you use, and what is difficult today. No bank login or sensitive document upload is needed to book the call.

Your next step

Let’s make your financial
routine easier to follow.

Tell Cole what your current setup looks like and what you want it to do. The first conversation is about fit and the smallest useful starting project.

No bank access or sensitive documents are needed to book. A conversation does not commit you to paid work.

Work is limited to the agreed scope. AI outputs require human review. Capital Control does not provide CPA assurance, tax filing or advice, legal or investment advice, lending, or professional valuation opinions. No savings, approval, or outcome is guaranteed. Read the disclosures.
