Operating forecast project kit
Turn operating assumptions into a five-year forecast, with a structured place to record sources, scenarios, and the reasons behind changes.

What’s inside
- The operating-forecast portion of the DCF starter workbook, with valuation available for context.
- Task-specific AI instructions for building and explaining a five-year forecast.
- Blank source, assumption, and review tables for a separate company project.
- Blank cash-commitments and actual-versus-plan tables for extending the analysis.
Bring your own inputs
Historical operating results; revenue and margin drivers; taxes; depreciation, capital expenditure and working capital; planning period, currency and units; a clearly defined base and downside case.
How to use it
- Unzip the project and read the starter guide.
- Add relevant historical reports and complete the input and assumption tables.
- Replace fictional inputs and develop the forecast with your AI.
- Compare scenarios, reconcile cash flow, and record unresolved issues and the next review date.
Review before relying on the result
This is a five-year operating forecast within a simplified DCF model. It is not a monthly cash budget or a fully integrated three-statement model. Check seasonality, timing, financing, and liquidity separately when they matter to your decision. Forecasts are hypothetical scenarios based on selected assumptions, not predictions of future results.
